Nova offers several different types of Docking systems and each system comes with several optional features and in several colors. It is something like when you buy a laptop, you can customize the laptop to your needs and situation. When a query comes to Nova sales team, it takes them several hours to organize a quote and sending quote back to the customer. They wanted to automate this system to help sales manager focus on sales.

Solution

Symphony Software worked with Nova to put together a very detailed SOW identifying all the products and options and all the algorithms that impact the costing and pricing for each option. The objective of this custom software project wass to develop a web based Dock Seal Quote System that can be accessed by Nova Dealers for the purpose of creating price quote for Dock Seals and Shelters. The Quote System will also standardize how dealers quote and receive quote across the globe. It will be user friendly and will have fast response time and will be configured for internet access and smart phone friendly.

This custom software solution was completed to Nova’s satisfaction and has put them in a position to serve their dealers by giving them on demand quotes with standardized protocol.
